The lamp cartridge life is limited to approximately 750 shots, which is enough shots to treat an entire body once, or achieve multiple treatments on the legs only, underarms only, and so on. The warning lights on the Silk'n control panel will let you know when you are close to or have reached the 750 shot limit. Like all forms of laser hair removal, the SILKN is not suitable for all skin types and cannot be used on dark or afro carribean skin types.

Paul Woodward | 14/02/2011dont usually bother with reviews but felt the need after using this machine. i bought the silkn to remove unwanted hair on my chest. i have had 4 treatments and the hair on my chest has reduced so far by 50% and i am still on the same bulb. the silkn is easy to use and it takes only 20 - 30 minutes to treat my chest area. must also add the customer service i received from ebeautyproducts was outstanding. i'm a happy customer all round!
Lee | 07/05/2010The silkn is an easy machine to use. I am a 23year old male with too chest hair. I have been waxing my chest for 2 years and it was no good for my skin. The silk'n has really helped me. I have been using mine for 10months and i have only the odd thin hair which I can just pluck out.. Thanks Lee
