Physiological mechanism: "electro-inhibition"
Electronic impulses are sent to the muscles to reduce wrinkles.
Safetox® uses electronic impulses which are sent to the target muscles using an adhesive patch.
These impulses inhibit the muscles in the central and upper part of the face (pyramidal, eyebrow and frontal).
The very specific impulses are set up in such a way as to temporarily suppress the excitability of the target muscles.
This technique is called electro-inhibition.
After several minutes, the high frequency of Safetox's impulses produce an ionic change in the muscle fibres (accumulation of extracellular K+ potassium), which eliminates any relaxation potential (or membrane potential), rendering the muscle fibres inexcitable.
This state of inexcitability leads to a state of deep relaxation and eliminates tone in the muscle fibres targeted.
Safetox® sessions modify the anteroposterior muscular balance of the head. With the anterior muscles relaxed, it is the posterior muscles (posterior auricular and occipital muscles) that become dominant. These pull on the ears and the skin of the forehead, opening up the face, eradicating tension lines and reducing deep wrinkles.

What results does Safetox give?
The aim essentially is to restore and develop the muscular dynamics of a youthful face.
The muscles in the central and upper parts of the face (those that close the face and create wrinkles) must be slackened, restoring the dominant role of the posterior muscles (those that open up and face and allow it to bloom by drawing the ears backwards and the skin of the forehead upwards).

INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDELINES FOR USE..
In practical terms, a session consists of 5 stages:
Stage 1: Cleaning the skin
Carefully clean the skin of the forehead using a “Safetox Prepare” wipe or mild soap and water. This stage is essential to remove all the grease from the skin and to ensure a good adherence of the patch.
Stage 2: Positioning the patch
Use a mirror to help you position the patch correctly. The narrowest part points downwards with the bottom edge horizontally aligned with the bridge between the eyebrows.
Stage 3: Positioning your Safetox
Put the Safetox on, keeping the central part of the frame level with the forehead, and then lower it so that it hooks on to the button on the patch.
Stage 4: Start
Push the button to start the session.
Press once for the novice user programme.
Press twice in succession for the initiated user programme, and press three times for the experienced user programme.
Stage 5: Session and end
During the 5-minute session simply relax or continue what you were doing. Once the session has finished, lift the central part of the frame to detach it from the button and remove the Safetox.
Guidelines for use depending on your age
Below the age of 25; wrinkles are not yet visiable...
The ageing process begins at around the age of 18. Wrinkles have not yet developed, but already factors such as time, fatigue and stress have a negative impact on tissue quality.
The muscles of the central and upper parts of the face often become tight and contracted – the process that causes wrinkles to develop. This leads to a reduction in the skin’s elasticity, which can also be caused by the action of aggressive agents (toxins, sunlight, dry and polluted air, etc.)
At this stage Safetox Beauty is not required to treat wrinkles but it is ideal as a preventive measure. After 2 weeks of intensive daily use to become familiar with the technique, two to three 5 minute sessions will be sufficient each week to achieve a remarkable preventive effect.
