Transformulas® Cosmedik™ Mid-Life Ageless L’effet Mask has two active components, a powder and a liquid. The retail application is enough for one homecare treatment of the face Transformulas® Mid-Life Ageless professional L’effet Mask treats face, neck and décolleté together or bust and décolleté. Any remaining may be applied to the back of the hands.
When the powder and activator are combined the Cosmedik™ Mid-Life Ageless L’effet Mask becomes active and must be used immediately. It sets like a latex veil and occludes the skin allowing the revolutionary potassium rich marine cocktail to set in motion its rejuvenating intoxicating qualities.
The molecular structure shrinks in size smaller than liposome’s, allowing them to penetrate, so that the potent potassium rich marine cocktail can exert its active properties.

Transformulas® Cosmedik™ Mid-Life Ageless L’effet Mask was discovered because of cardiology doctors investigating patients who suffered from high blood pressure. They revealed, by blocking calcium channels to the heart using a potassium based formulation, helped to reduce the amount of muscle contracting agent that reached this organ. This in turn relaxed the large muscle, brought down the blood pressure and stress on the heart.
The theory being that

How often you should use the Mask treatment for the best result?
The skin renews itself every 30 days. Therefore, we recommend that a course of three Cosmedik™ Mid-Life Ageless L’effet Mask. Applications are applied in the first month. i.e. Days 1, 11 and 30 and a minimum of once a month as maintenance. The exceptional qualities work together to optimise the formulation and the effects will produce amazing results, helping towards a glowing, healthy and radiant complexion, even if used a few days before a special event.
STEP BY STEP TREATMENT PROCEDURE
1. Thoroughly cleanse using the Cosmedik™ DailyGlycol Priming Cleanser. The Glycol acts as a penetration enhancer by altering the skin structure allowing the rest of the products in the system to penetrate deeper increasing the power of the other ingredients. Remove with cotton pads dampened with Cosmedik™ SkinTight Cell Tonic, and then empty the whole of the Cosmedik™ Mid-Life Ageless L'effet Mask Powder into a receptacle.
2. Shake Cosmedik™ Activator and pour the entire pre-measured amount into the powder. This is enough for one Cosmedik™ L’effet Mask.
3. Use a spatula forcefully mix Cosmedik™ Powder and Cosmedik™ Activator together into a paste, FOR NO LONGER than 4 minutes. Transformulas® Cosmedik™ Mid-Life Ageless L’effet Mask is now active and must be applied immediately.
4. Using a spatula apply thickly generously and evenly, directly to the area that is to be treated. For facial treatment start at the collarbone, working your way up to the forehead and close to the hairline the mask will naturally spread and self-level. The Cosmedik™ L’effet Mask can be applied around the eye area and under the eye; however you must NOT get it in the eye. It is essential that the Cosmedik™ L’effet Mask application is THICK, as applying too sparingly will weaken the concentration.
5. Leave to set for 30 minutes, it forms a latex veil over the face, the edges of the Mask will be pale which indicates it is ready to remove.
6. Move fingers gently underneath the mask and start to peel off. Wipe over the area with Cosmedik™ SkinTight Cell Tonic. This has a dual effect; to assist in the removal of the mask, freshens and tightens the dermal layer. Preparing the skin for the final stages of the treatment procedure.
7. Cosmedik™ Mid-Life CellSupport Serum should now be applied using the fingertips, massaging into the area treated, this works to nourish and moisturise intensively, smoothing fine lines and firming the cell structure.
8. Applying Cosmedik™ Mid-Life Marine Miracle Crème will increase the intensity and results of the treatment. Apply with fingertips, gently massaging until absorbed into the skin. For treating the eye area, gently tap into the orbital area of the eye; avoid direct contact with the eye. This highly concentrated treatment crème will boost, encourage and prolong the results gained, enhancing and radiating the appearance of the area treated, if used everyday.
